Mission Statement

Provide opportunities for members to serve their Lord by becoming
involved in short-term mission projects.

Expectations

That St. John's members may experience the personal joy, satisfaction and fulfillment of becoming personally involved in the mission and ministry of St. John's Lutheran Church by utilizing their individual God-given gifts of time, talents and treasures in the pursuit of fulfilling "The Great Commission" of our Lord.

"Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. That through this involvement and by the power of God's Holy Spirit, they will:

Learn to KNOW the love of God in Christ Jesus even better

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Learn to GROW in their own faith and personal relationship to their savior

Learn to SOW the "life-giving" seeds of the gospel in the hearts of others
